Prepare to be Diamondized

Prepare yourself to be diamondized this evening by a living legend in the field of entertainment. A singer/songwriter who commands an audience with a sweeping gesture and wardrobe full of glimmering shirts; he is none other than, Neil Diamond. Since the 60s, Neil Diamond has been blazing his own trail into the music industry. His songs have been turned into infectious reggae hits and alternative soundtrack smashes, but one that he is most known for writing is ‘I’m a Believer,’ performed by The Monkees back in 1967. Selling more than 150 million records, Neil Diamond has given us such great hits as 'Sweet Caroline', 'Kentucky Woman', 'Love on the Rocks' and who can forget the irrepressible duet with former university choir member, Barbara Streisand titled, 'You Don’t Bring Me Flowers.' His songs cross all boundaries and span generations of music lovers. He has ignored critics who said his music was too mellow and his shirts too loud, thankfully he has gone on to become a musical pioneer and a great showman. Tonight for one night only, Neil Diamond takes to the London Palladium stage to perform some of his greatest hits, as well as some new tracks from his eagerly anticipated new album, 'Melody Road.' Rob Brydon will be hosting the evening and travelling with Neil as they take a trip, down memory lane to pivotal points in Neil’s career such as Coney Island, Brighton Beach, Flatbush and Neil’s childhood home back in Brooklyn. This evening has been brought to you by Sekonda the UK’s top selling watch brand. The watch that will be in the limelight this evening is the new Seksy Crystal Eclipse. A beautiful watch with expert quartz movements encrusted with stones that sparkle just as much as Neil’s shirts. View it today on the House of Watches website and see what else you can discover from Sekonda. And don’t forget to tune in tonight at 9pm on itv. By James Tissiman
