In these Terms and Conditions:
“We” and “Us” means House of Watches (an online trading name of T H Baker & Co Ltd).
“You” means the person using the website.


Use of the website

By using the website you are confirming that you are 18 years old or over, or if you are under 18 then you are using it with the consent of a parent or guardian


Access to our site

We will do our best to ensure that the availability of our website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free, however due to the nature of the Internet this cannot be guaranteed.  Occasionally your access to the website may be suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new features and services.  We will attempt to minimise the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction. We are not liable if the website is unavailable for any period of time.

We reserve the right to terminate the website, or parts of it, or remove any products or services without prior warning.  This may happen if the law changes and restricts our ability to provide the website or any part of it, including products and services, or if technical difficulties or events beyond our control prevent us from operating the website.

We cannot guarantee that the website is free from computer viruses.  It is your responsibility to take precautions in this respect.


Licence for Website Access

We grant you a limited licence to access and make personal use of our website, but not to download (other than page caching), or modify it, or any part of it, unless you have our express written consent.  This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of the website or its contents; the collection and use of any product listings, descriptions or prices; any derivative use of the website or its content; or the use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

Neither this website nor any portion of it, may be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written consent. This includes any trademark, logo or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of House of,, or, and its affiliates.

You are granted a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive right to create a hyperlink to our website as long as this link does not portray us, or our affiliates and their products in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter.


Your Conduct

You must not use our website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, it or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.

You understand that it is you, and not us, who is responsible for all electronic communications and content sent from your computer to us and you must use the website for lawful purposes only.

You must not use our website for fraudulent reasons, or in connection with any criminal offence or other unlawful activity.  Any unlawful or fraudulent use of our website is likely to result in details being passed to the police or relevant authorities.

You must not use our website to send, use or reuse any material that: is illegal, offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene or menacing; is in breach of copyright, trademark, confidence, privacy or any other right; is otherwise injurious to third parties; consists of or contains software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any 'spam' to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.


Placing an Order

For further information on placing an order online, please see our ‘buying online’ section.

Please note that once an order has been placed it cannot be changed. This means that you cannot change your delivery address, your selected products or your product quantities etc. However, once the order reaches you, you can return it back to us for an exchange or full refund.

We can only accept orders from and to addresses in the United Kingdom, including the Channel Islands and BFPOs, and those international countries specified.

After placing an order online we will email you a confirmation of your order as soon as possible. This email will confirm what you have ordered and the price. This is not an order acceptance from us.

When we despatch your order we will send you a despatch confirmation email to the email address you provided. This email marks our formal acceptance of your order and our obligation to complete the contract.

Orders placed before 4pm will be despatched the same day subject to stock availability and security checks. To ensure guaranteed next day delivery please phone us on 01562 312 226.

If a different delivery address has been requested we reserve the right to send a letter to the billing address to confirm order details.

We do not have to accept your order and reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order once it has been placed. This may be done for example if:
- Your payment is not authorised or has been marked as fraudulent, or potentially fraudulent by the payment system.
- Payment has been made using a card not issued in a country we dispatch to.
- There is an error on the website regarding the price or description of a product.
- The items ordered are no longer in stock or available.
- We have tried contacting you about your order and have not heard back within a reasonable period of time.

If the items you have ordered are unavailable you will be notified as soon as possible. Unfortunately, due to the dispatch process beginning immediately after orders are placed, we are unable to cancel successful orders and so any unwanted items will have to be returned for a refund (see our returns policy for details).

By placing an order with us you are confirming that any information you have given is true and accurate and that you are authorised to use the card on which payment was made.



Our Products

All products are subject to availability which is subject to change.

Products shown will not be actual size, where available approximate measurements are provided.

All colours are reproduced as accurately as electronic processes allow.

Gemstones and other details may vary in colour from the product picture accompanying, due to the nature of such stones. We aim to show the best representation of each product, but differences in stones may naturally occur.

We reserve the right to amend the details and specifications of our products as necessary or to conform with any changes in UK or EU requirements.

We try to ensure that our website is as accurate as possible, however we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies or errors beyond our control.

All items will be supplied in our own packaging or branded packaging from suppliers.

Not all of our stores stock all of the products on our website.  If you wish to view an item in store before placing an order, please contact the store in advance to ensure that the item you want is available.


Pricing and payment

All prices are in Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate unless stated.

Where applicable, delivery costs will be added to the total price of the goods.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

The price you pay is the price of the goods shown at the time you placed your order, including any additional delivery costs if applicable.

Despite our best efforts, pricing errors may occasionally occur.  We will verify pricing when processing your order.  If a product's correct price is higher than the price on the website, we may either contact you before shipping to request whether you want to buy the product at the correct price or cancel your order.  If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and send you the product.



We will endeavour to meet any given date for delivery however we cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control.  If we are unable to make the expected delivery date we shall inform you by email or phone as soon as possible.

Once dispatched all orders are fully insured by Royal Mail or ourselves until they have been delivered and signed for.

As soon as your order has been delivered, or confirmed as having been delivered by Royal Mail, then you will be responsible for them.
Royal Mail will not consider a parcel as lost in post until delivery has not been made or attempted until 10 days after dispatch. We suggest that you raise any issues with delivery to us as soon as possible but please be aware we cannot take any action until this timeframe has passed.


Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer you have the legal right to cancel. A consumer is any natural person who carries out transactions not for commercial or self-employment purposes.

Instructions on your right to cancel

You have the legal right to cancel your order within fourteen days, without giving a reason.

This cancellation period of fourteen days starts with the day you or the person of your choice receives the order at your chosen delivery address. You must cancel your order before the fourteen days end.

Consequences of the cancellation

If you (The Consumer) cancel your contract, we (House of Watches) are obliged to refund your payment.

This refund includes delivery costs, with the exception of additional costs, should you choose a different delivery option other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us.

In order to refund your money, we will use the same transaction that you chose in order to pay, unless we agree on an alternative refund method. We won’t charge an extra fee for the refund.

Please note that we can deny you a refund until we have either received the products or proof that you have sent them.

You must post the goods within a period of fourteen days starting from the date you inform House of Watches about the cancellation of the contract.

Cancellation right exceptions

The right to cancel does not include piercings on grounds relating to protection of health. Therefore, earrings and any other piercing jewellery items are not suitable for being returned once they have been opened.

Complaints Procedure

If you are not entirely happy with your recent experience, please raise a complaint by contacting our.

We aim to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible and if we are able to resolve your complaint within 14 days, we will send you a final response detailing our resolution. If we are unable to provide you with a final response at 15 days, we will send you a letter explaining the reason for delay and when we expect to issue you with a final response


If you are dissatisfied with our response and your agreement is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge, but you must do so within six months of the date of the final response or 8 week holding letter. There is an additional charge for engraving and depending on your delivery option there may be delivery and packaging costs – these will be displayed clearly on the ‘Checkout’ page. Prices in printed publications are correct at the time of publication and House of Watches reserves the right to amend prices without prior notice. Prices of products are subject to change at any time and our sales or offers may be withdrawn without prior warning. However, if a price change or withdrawn offer occurs after you have placed your order you do have the right to cancel your order and receive the appropriate refund. We reserve the right to refuse to engrave any message that could be considered obscene or offensive. In this case we will cancel the order and provide a full refund.

If an item has been engraved or otherwise personalised we are unable to offer an exchange or provide a full refund. We will only offer a full refund on faulty items. Please note that you, the customer, are responsible for providing an accurate and correctly spelt message for us to engrave.

Engraved products will be dispatched within 3 working days of purchase, please allow time on top of your selected delivery method.

Please note, this will also apply to Next Day Delivery, Saturday Delivery, and Overseas Delivery options, however we will endeavour to dispatch your product as soon as possible.

This website contains links to other websites.  These websites are outside of our control and we cannot be held responsible or liable for these websites.  These links are provided because we feel they may be of interest to you, but we do not monitor or endorse these websites or their views.



We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage experienced as a result of our website, or the goods and services supplied by it, except as required by law. 

We are still liable for:
- Loss, damage, death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
- The quality of the products and services we provide.
- Fraudulent misrepresentation.


Promotional Voucher Codes

From time to time we run various promotions offering additional discount with the use of a promotional code.  The relevant terms and conditions for a promotion code are outlined below:

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice.

The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.  In cases of a buy one get one free offer or a 3 for 2 offer, or a similar promotion offering a free product, the lowest priced item will be given.

Only one promotional voucher can be used per order unless otherwise stated.

The promotional voucher can redeemed on the website or by quoting your unique promotional code to one of our sales team when you phone to place your order.

The promotional voucher is not redeemable in our shops.

Promotional voucher redeemable value is £0.000000000001.

Please note specific discount codes such as our introductory welcome code may not apply to all brands and/or products. If your discount code does not work, it may be that the code is no longer valid; although we do our best to make sure any discount codes advertised on third party sites are up to date, we cannot control any incorrect information related to codes and promotions displayed by voucher code and cashback sites.

Brand exclusions to our welcome discount include, sale items, pre-owned watches and GUCCI.

In the case of free promotional items, please note that these will only be awarded to customers while stocks last. We will attempt to remove any marketing material, including banners relating to the promotion in question, as soon as we run out of stock but there may be a delay in doing so; in this instance we reserve the right to refuse a promotional item if out of stock.

If a customer returns the items with which the free promotional item was gifted, then we reserve the right to request the return of the free promotional item too.

The usual website terms and conditions still apply to all orders.

Gift Wrapping

When gift wrapping is purchased alongside your order you accept that there may be a short delay to the delivery times shown at time of purchase. Should you wish to cancel or return an order that was gift wrapped; we do not refund the gift wrap service charge unless in accordance with your legal rights.

By using the gift wrapping service on the House of Watches, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.

Gift Cards

Gift cards purchased via are redeemable when purchasing items sold on The House of Watches. Gift cards may be exchanged for goods of a higher price than the face value of the card on payment of the difference.

The minimum amount available on a House of Watches gift card is £10. Currently, the maximum gift card limit is £50.

House of Watches gift cards may not be exchanged for cash or vouchers or used as a deposit on a credit agreement, or may not be used on any other site.

For items bought with a gift card that you wish to exchange, these can either be exchanged for an item of equal or greater value or credit will be issued on your next purchase – at the point of ordering please contact customer service to validate credit.  Please see our delivery & returns policy for more information on returning items.

The gift card will expire 12 months after purchase. House of Watches gift cards are not cheque guarantee, credit or charge cards.

Please treat this gift card as cash. House of Watches cannot be held liable for gift cards that are subsequently lost, stolen, damaged or defaced.

House of Watches reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so.  Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.

By using a gift card to make purchases on the House of Watches, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
