Michael Flatley: A night to remember
At 10:40 this evening, for one night only ITV celebrates the world-renowned dancer, choreographer and musician, Michael Flatley. The show aims at taking us on a toe tapping journey through Michael’s career from his first steps on the stage, to his rise to stardom.
Michael is an Irish American with humble beginnings in Chicago, Illinois. Starting to dance at the age of 11 it was obvious that his innate talent was a gift. His rapid rise to fame lead him to becoming the highest paid dancer in show business, which subsequently lead to Michael taking out an insurance premium of 40 million dollars for his legendary legs. The famed lord of the dance also holds a Guinness World Record for the most taps per second, striking in at an unbeatable 35!
